The Journey of Faith and Questions
Faith and reason are often portrayed as opposites, but they are deeply interconnected. Questions about God, the Bible, and Christianity are not signs of weak faith but of an active, engaged mind seeking truth. These ideas aim to provide a thoughtful exploration of common questions, equipping believers to articulate their faith and inviting non-believers to understand the Christian perspective. I also would love to share the works I enjoyed the most throughout my journey. Most things I have read or studied are not of religious directive. In fact many of the authors express their beliefs as atheist or spiritual. However, I feel they all played a special role in my journey to Christ and Christianity.
Many spiritual perspectives talk of the same ideas or goals yet I notice that if the author didn’t call it heaven they might describe it as a spiritual being returning to the source or perhaps becoming one with the universe. I do feel there is a huge misunderstanding of the purpose of Jesus’ teachings and Christianity. It seems many people turn away from the “church” or “organized religion” for many reasons, some very personal. Whether they look upon certain local or popular leaders of the church and see hypocrisy and judgement which in turn is shown to the public as abuse, scandals and unkind treatment of others. All this and then to mention misunderstood biblical interpretations or conflict with modern science. I pray we can come to a center-point of communication and my deeply rooted beliefs can at the least answer a few question or ignite the desire to look deeper.
The journey to faith often begins with questions. Whether you’re a skeptic wrestling with doubts or a believer seeking to articulate your faith, questions are a natural and necessary part of growth. This book is not about silencing doubts but engaging them thoughtfully. By exploring these topics, we aim to foster understanding between believers and non-believers, encouraging respectful dialogue and deeper reflection. Faith, after all, is not the absence of questions but the willingness to seek answers beyond ourselves. It is in this search through honest conversations and open hearts that we uncover the truths that unite us and the grace that transforms us. This journey isn’t about having all the answers but about walking together toward greater understanding and purpose.
God Bless
